The Desklog Jira plugin integrates projects and tasks to enhance collaboration and efficiency. It provides accurate time tracking with real time project visibility.

  1. 1Create your account with Desklog
  2. 2Go to Desklog Project Management settings and select Integrations
  3. 3Click activate on the Jira integration option fill in the necessary details
  4. 4Enter the API Key (Copy and paste the Jira API key to Desklog)
  5. 5Enter the API Token (Generate a token from Jira)
  6. 6Click save and your projects and tasks from Jira will be available on Desklog
  7. 7Go to the Desklog Dashboard and choose a project or task from Jira to track

How to generate API Key and API Token:

  • To begin the authentication process, you need an API key. Every Jira user is given an API key. You can retrieve your API key by logging into Jira.
  • For API Token- On the same page you can also have an option called “Token”.
  • “Allow” permission and your Jira token will be generated. Copy-paste This token and your projects and tasks from Jira will be integrated into Desklog.
