How to Create Recurring Tasks in Desklog

Step 1: From the left admin panel, click on Projects, then select Project List from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: You will see a list of all projects. Click on the project where you want to create a recurring task.

Step 3: This will open the task creation interface. Enter the task name and configure the relevant task settings. Look for the recurring task icon and click on it to proceed.

Step 4: In the recurring task settings window, provide the following details:

  • Repeat: Select how often the task should repeat — Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
  • Starts On: Choose the date when the recurring task should begin.
  • Ends On: Select the date when the recurring task should stop.
  • Time: Set the specific time for the task to be automatically created.

Step 5: Once all settings are configured, click Add. The recurring task will now appear in your task list.

How to Set a Previously Created Task as Recurring?

Step 1: From the admin panel on the left, click on Projects, then select Project List from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: A list of projects will appear. Click on the project that contains the task you want to update.

Step 3: Find the task in the list and go to the Action column. Click on the recurring task icon.

Step 4: In the recurring task settings window, fill in the following details:

  • Repeat: Select whether the task should repeat Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
  • Starts On: Choose the start date for the recurring task.
  • Ends On: Choose the end date for the recurring task.
  • Time: Set the specific time the task should be automatically created.

Step 5: Once you’ve configured the settings, click Save. The task is now set to recur based on your selected schedule.

How To Delete a Recurring Task?

Step 1: From the admin panel on the left, click on Projects, then select Project List from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: A list of projects will appear. Click on the project that contains the task you want to update.

Step 3: Find the task in the list and go to the Action column. Click on the recurring task icon.

Step 4: In the interface that opens, click on the Remove Recurring button. 

Step 5: You’ll be further asked to confirm that you want to delete that setting from the task. Click Delete. 

Your task will be removed successfully.
