Tasks

Click on  Task navigation on the left margin and under Task menu, there are two sub-menus

Create Task

Click on create task and enter the details of the Task as shown in the screenshot

Enter the below details as shown in the above screenshot.

*Task Title:-Enter the task name

*Summary:- Describe the task in the space provided.

*Sprint ID or Milestone ID:- Enter the sprint ID or milestone ID

*Assigned To: Choose the role from drop down to whom it should be assigned, Eg: Softdev

*Task Priority:Choose the priority type of the task as critical/high/low/medium/intermediate

*Task Type:Choose the task type as Normal/Epic/User story/Bug

*Allocated Time:-Enter the allocated time for the task

*Support Document:-Attach any support documents here

After entering the details click on “create” to create task.

View Task

Click on “View Task” sub-menu and enter the below details as shown in the screenshot to view the task.

Enter the below details to view the task

  1. Project ID– Type the unique ID
  2. Milestone ID-Enter the Milestone ID
  3. Task ID-Enter the Task ID
  4. Board – Enter the Board
  5. From Date– Select the created date
  6. To Date– Select the end date

After entering the details click on the filter and it filters the particular task. To view the complete details of that particular task click on the blue icon shown in the above screenshot.

There are many options to view more on the right margin of the page shown in the above screenshot

  1. People
  2.  Date
  3.  Files in this Task
  4.  Comments

People

Click on this option to view the below details

  • Assign to: It shows the team name the name of the individual
  • People Involved: It shows the number of members involved in the task
  • Report to: It shows the role to whom the task to be reported.
  • Created By: It displays the role name like Admin or TL , the person who created the task

Date

Click on this option to view the below details

  • Last Updated: It shows the last updated date of the task.
  • Created Date: It shows the date when the task was created.

Files in this Task

Click on this to view the files attached to this task.

Comments

Click on this to view the comments related to task.

There are 2 icons on the top of the window highlighted in yellow and marked red in the below screenshot

  1. Refresh
  2. Edit Task

Under the highlighted icons you can also view the task status , description of the task, you can add comments and drop or attach files related to the task

Refresh

Click on this icon to refresh the screen to view the updated details.

Edit Task

Click on this icon to edit the task as shown in the below screenshot.

Task Title: Edit the task title

Summary: Edit the summary about the task in the space provided.

Task Priority: Choose the priority type of the task as critical/high/low/medium/intermediate to edit

Task Type:Choose the task type as Normal/Epic/User story/Bug to edit.
