Project management software is a software which can be customized as per the need of an organization to keep a track of all resources, the task assigned, timelines, attendance management, project scope and finally can view the project deliverables with real-time productivity.

2. Difference between Project management and Task management software.

Project management is used by large scale organizations where they are limited to projects and any particular task. Task management software is used where any particular task is repeatedly done on a monthly basis.

3. What is the difference between project and task?

The task is a particular activity to be completed in order to finish the project. For example, Building a website is your project but it involves activities like blogging, designing, etc. Here blogging and designing are the tasks.

4. How is the task created?

Click on create task and enter the details of the Task as shown in the screenshot

Enter the below details as shown in the above screenshot.

*Task Title:-Enter the task name

*Summary:- Describe about the task in the space provided.

*Milestone ID:- Enter the milestone ID

*Assigned To: Choose the role from the drop down to whom it should be assigned, Eg: any username

*Report To: Choose the role from the drop down to whom it should be reported to, Eg: Team Leader

*Task Priority:Choose the priority type of the task as critical/high/low/medium/intermediate

*Task Type:Choose the task type as Normal/Epic/User story/Bug

*Allocated Time:-Enter the allocated time for the task

*Support Document:-Attach any support documents here

After entering the details click on the “create” button to create the task.

5. How can you view the task?

Click on “View Task” sub-menu and enter the below details as shown in the screenshot to view the task.

Enter the below details to view the task

1. Project ID- Type the unique ID

2. Milestone ID-Enter the Milestone ID

3. Task ID-Enter the Task ID

4. Task Type- Enter the task type as Normal/Epic/User story/Bug

5. Project Version- Enter the Task version

6. From Date- Select the created date

7. To Date- Select the end date

After entering the details click on filter and it filters the particular task. To view the complete details of that particular task click on the blue icon under action field
